Proponents of the lesser of two evils, strike again!

Posted on 11/22/2014 6:40:53 PM PST by nomad

In the run up to the recent election, people who refused to vote for the lesser of two evils were attacked by the pro-rino crowd here. Well now that your precious GOPe has won and started their back stabbing, obozo`s amnesty comes to mind, what do you retardicans have to say?

You don't get to make rules for me or others on who we fight in the general election.

Your argument is with reality, not rules. The reality was either Obama or Romney would be president. The reality is your vote helped Obama. Period.

Nope. The reality is that Obama got elected.

Your liberal republicans are winning as many recent presidential races as 3rd party.

None.

At least I know I didn't vote for a liberal.

You are so stuck on party that you can't imagine someone not a Dem or a Republican winning.

Guess what, the liberal republicans are going the way of the Whigs.

Unelectable in presidential general elections. Period.

The RINOs salivate at the thought of having homosexual marriage, gun bans, and amnesty enacted by one of their own.
Oh gee, Romney supported all of that.

well, maybe we have to wait to see if one actually exists and see what it says. He may be running a big bluff, but I can’t see how he’d get away with that.

>> [States] can go directly to the Supreme Court under the Constitution. Congress can’t do that.

I think the Constitution gives original jurisdiction to the Supreme Court in all disputes between a State and the Federal Government. Doesn't often work out that way though.

I don't vote for the party affiliation. You are stuck on party.

You sure are fixated on party.

In my experience, when the President is (R), things get better. Not perfect, but better. Even if his name is Bush.

When the President is (D), things get worse.

When the congress is (R)-dominated, "getting better" gets faster, and "getting worse" gets slower.

When the congress is (D)-donminated, the opposite result obtains.

So yeah, party affiliation has kinda been a touchstone for me. I won't give a (D) a second look. (R)s get heavily scrutinized, and when possible, face-to-face interrogated during primary season.

Two and a half years ago I had the opportunity to grill a couple of aspiring (R) candidates for congress. One told me, without prompting, everything I wanted to hear on the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th amendments. The other told me Obamacare could not be repealed. Yeah, I voted in that primary. Neither won. Justin Amash did.

I could have sat home because "my guy" lost. I didn't know much abaout Amash. But when it came to the genereal, guess what I did. And I'm very glad I did, and did it again this month.

BTW, if you are going to talk about throwing votes away, third parties have won as many recent presidential elections as liberal republicans.

None.

*George W. Bush
*Liberal Republican
*Won so hard he thought it was safe to expand medicare And yeah, I voted for him, because Kerry. And I'd do it again.
