Which states in the U.S. have an age of consent at 15 years old? How many of those states consider administration of controlled substances without a prescription to be legal?

In the 1800s, the age of consent was usually around 10-13. In England, it was raised to 13 in 1875. Canada raised it from 14 to 16 in 2008. Iceland raised it from 14 to 15 in 2007.

In Idaho and Hawaii, it is 14. It is 15 in Virginia and Colorado. Arizona uses 18. Some of the states with limits below 16 do so only if the person having sex is within a certain age bracket of the girl.

“Until a few decades ago, many states used to have provisions requiring that the teenage girl must have been of previous “chaste character” in order for the sexual conduct to be considered criminal. In 1998, Mississippi became the last state to remove this provision from its code.”

What were the laws in 1980? Beats me.

I don’t believe the stories about drugs. Back then, Cosby was “Cool Cos”. And how many girls/women continue to meet with a guy who has already used drugs to rape them? Not many, I guess...
