I Warned You About Bill Cosby in 2007 The public may be waking up to the mountain of rape allegations now, but women were coming forward years ago to warn the Jell-O Man was not so sweet.
In 2007seven years before she publicly came forwardI spoke with Joan Tarshis, a former Hollywood publicist who claimed that Bill Cosby raped her. After our talkand, of course, much more researchI filed a version of the following story on my website Hollywood, Interrupted. It identified a number of women who claimed that Bill Cosby had raped them. (The story has been updated slightly to reflect the allegations of the past few weeks, including Tarshiss choice to drop the pseudonym she had elected to use in prior years.)
In my interviews with several of the women back then, I found the tale they told disturbingly similar: All were young and impressionable, beautiful, and talented. Cosby had taken a keen interest in their careers, and had offered to mentor them or otherwise open the fabled doors to the glistening kingdom of show business, for which he was a principal emissary.
All were given spiked drinksor drugs misrepresented as medicineand became incapacitated, the women charged. And all allegedly awoke with the unshakable sense that something wrong had occurred.
People magazine even ran an article on the lawsuits that were settled with several of the women, but never followed up on it. And from my own experience, I can confirm that the story shook people to the core: Even more than Woody Allen, Bill Cosby was a beloved figure and civil-rights pioneer; hardened editors were horrified at the prospect of taking him down. I might as well have pitched a story about Martin Luther King, Jr. philandering with white women. The story went nowhere.

I find it interesting that every time BC says something remotely conservative theses allegation emerge.
Could be just a conincidence, or not.

That hasn’t been the reality so I don’t know why you claim it is, and there is no conspiracy, as you imply with the inaccurate claim you first make, and then use to imply conspiracy.
I implied nothing. You inferred something from nothing.
We are done.
I never said conspricy, I said it was interesting.
As a side note you are the only one throwing a sissy fit about my interest.
The likelihood of Clinton’s guilt is on a different level, as opponents of his often ended up dead.
As for Cosby, he may very well have committed some or all of these acts, but until he’s FOUND guilty by a jury in good standing, we’ll never know.
No.. it’s not “revealed” on this or any thread. These are called accusations... big difference.
LOL, OK, post 8 meant nothing, you intended it to mean nothing, it says nothing, it doesn’t imply anything, there is no sarcasm in it, nothing to read in it.
But it is false, so you were wrong to make a false claim.
Many facts are revealed on this thread, not just accusations, yours and the women.
You ignored 119 and the facts in it.
How much evidence did we rely on for Clintons 1978 rape that surfaced in 1997 for Joness lawsuit?
The DAs proclaiming that his investigation of the reported rape at the time convinced him of Clintons guilt?
The 13 women willing to testify to his rape techniques?
The Settlement before trial that Clinton made with Juanita Broaddrick about a year and half after the rape?
All these other women and near misses that are still emerging, and still reinforcing the claims that he used drugs on women?
It’s hard to know what he said if you don’t tell us or link it for us.
“... BUT up until his death he had some very choice words concerning what he thought of his friend Bill Cosby”
Hmmm...
“The success of the show is attributed to the chemistry between Culp and Cosby. Fans tuned in more for their hip banter than for the espionage stories, making I Spy a leader in the buddy genre. The two actors quickly developed a close friendship that mirrored their on-screen characters, a friendship that would last until Culp’s death in 2010.”

“”Even to this day, [Cosby’s wife] Camille would just walk away when Bob and I got together,” Cosby recalled with a laugh during an interview Wednesday. “We almost had our own language and our own way of connecting, sometimes without saying anything.”
“To our wives,” continued Cosby, “it was some kind of code. Sometimes we would start to laugh, seemingly at nothing. Our wives hated the two of us together. It must have been horrible for them. They became friends and just looked at the two of us like we were nuts.”

Cosby admits to womanizing in the 70s, and I have no good reason to think he changed. But we ought to be honest about what we know, and what we do not know, and not pretend people who liked each other did not.
“”I never had so much fun in my life, never, before or since,” he said of “I Spy” in a 2007 interview with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Archive of American Television.
Culp and Cosby remained good friends after the series left air.”

Last reply. I made no false claim, I simply said I found certain things interesting.
For reasons known only to you, you have run with your own false inference, and you are the only one.
You know what I find that really interesting as well, why are your reactions out of proportion to what I Sad?
Yes, you described a false scenario and then claimed it was “interesting” as though it was a conspiracy, yet your scenario is fake itself.
All I did was correct your post 8.

**”I find it interesting that every time BC says something remotely conservative theses allegation emerge. Could be just a conincidence, or not.”**
That would have to be true to be coincidence, and it isn’t true.
This isn’t a conspiracy.

You made a sloppy statement about conspiracy and now you deny it....go back to sleep
And you aren’t the first way-off freeper talking conspiracy against Cosby
He playing word games
There was an actress that played a waitress on the show, that filed a police report on his sexual aggression in 2000.
—>> I thought about Lisa Bonet from this recent round of allegations. Shed fit the description of victims and she left that show pretty early on and there were hints of not having a great relationship with Bill Cosby.
Lisa Bonet sent a tweet out earlier in reference to karma and something about what lies deep in darkness will come out. If anyone’s on Twitter, you can check out her message to read the actual post & wording. I saw it quickly before the link was removed.
Tmz reports that the Twitter account was a fake (it’s suspended) AND They confirm, thru Bonet’s agent, that Lisa Bonet does NOT tweet (or wish to make any statement.)
Funny this “popped” into my mind too...6 degrees of separation to our Dear Leader. Cosby TV wife, Claire Huxtable, was portrayed by Phylicia Allen Rashad. She has been divorced (for sometime) from Ahmad Rashad who is NOW the main squeeze of Valarie Jarrett (First female Preezie, D-Iran). I don’t know why, but that part just fascinates me.
I get the fact growing numbers of women are claiming he raped them; they could number in the thousands, but at this point they amount to accusations without evidence. In America, no matter how much you wish it otherwise, the level of guilt is NOT determined by the severity or repetitiveness of the charge. No matter how much you stomp your foot or jump up and down screaming, evidence of the crimes does not exist.
You do not have good judgement evidently.
You look at this mass of damning information and come to the wrong conclusions, in this case you think that Cosby never raped a woman.
