I doubt that, because they come here to learn trades and go to tech schools.
Saw this...it won’t be the last.
Did you ping the Q&R group?
There are many illegals in Pittsburgh, many from South America.
How's the WX back there ... read where it's really nasty in Buffalo.
Stay Warm :)
FYI...
I saw a coil of steel after it went off a flatbed near New Stanton. It didn’t go over the jersey barrier, it went through it. It blocked both lanes when it unrolled. No one was hurt.
Thanks for the ping! Listened to wrko this morning. The show producer was on his way to work when an illegal slammed into the side of his car. Same scanerio ; no license, and registration expired. The illegal blamed HIM for the accident! The producer should have called the police.
The way Bath House thinks about this is that he and the dems just generated two D votes and erased one R from this incident: one vote from the dead man (via fraud) and the other D vote from the (grateful) illegal. And the dead man probably voted R, to boot.
BO and the left has emboldened the CRIMINALS! There will be more like this.
Transforming America.
In 2005, A New Jersey newspaper reporter did a piece on the number of vehicles with PA license plates outside of known invader places of habitation.
She explained in the article all the invaders needed in order to register their vehicle in PA was an international drivers license, which she pointed out could be downloaded from the internet and an insurance rider which could be purchased from a no questions asked insurance agency as proof of intent to insure.
As we were reminded again last night invaders have no compunction regarding telling lies and purchasing an insurance rider is usually the last time the invader sets foot in an insurance office.
Now that was almost ten years ago and we, the merry little band I used to run around with, did bring that information to the attention of the State Insurance commission office in Philadelphia, so it might have changed. But I doubt it.
BTW. Ratting out an invader in PA is a very low priority for governments and businesses. It's a respect the culture kind of thing.
Honestly, this could happen to anyone. The legality of the driver doesn’t mean much. Eighteen wheelers throwing a recap would kill you well enough.
Gonzales-Huerta did not have a valid driver’s license and neither the truck nor the trailer was insured, police said.
Yeah, he came here to work hard, be decent, honest, a good American. Got it.
A stunning number of Barry’s New ‘Mericans in the Burgh these days. I am impressed that Alan Jennings “went there” with his reporting and that WPXI let it on air. My guess Shaler PD were pretty willing to share details of crash.
So sad for the family...what a horrific accident. Amazing that only one (which is too many) fatality given the high volume of traffic and narrowness of rt 28.
“Honestly, this could happen to anyone. The legality of the driver doesnt mean much. Eighteen wheelers throwing a recap would kill you well enough”
If the criminal were in Mexico flouting THEIR law the tire would have had to have flown a hell of a long way to kill the old man. This accident was facilitated by our government’s SPECIFICALLY allowing the flouting of US law.
Obama told him to come out of the shadows and he did, to the poor man’s detriment who was hit with the tire.
I was very surprised the reporter revealed the perp’s status. So politically incorrect.
Once had a semi dump a tire in front of me in El Paso, Texas. Full re-tread, but thankfully no rim. Maybe 10 feet away from me at highway speeds.
Ran over it. Tore my car to shreds, but I walked away.
Semi was owned by (redacted - don’t want to be sued).
Filed police reports with state, county, and city police. Those reports vanished. But my repairs — including deductible — were paid in full without me filing ANYTHING. I was simply sent invoices showing “Paid in Full.”
Seeing a tire fly at you at 70 mph is scary stuff. Sad this gentleman did not survive. Sigh.
Yeah, I’ve heard Buffalo has been getting absolutely hammered, last was 7ft and counting. I’m fine down here in Brooklyn, but dreading the inevitable first snowfall of the winter. I have a feeling it could either be a light dusting, or we’ll get hammered with a few feet right at the start. We could end up with 5 or 6ft by the end of the season next year.
But I’m a pessimist, so I always think in terms of worst case scenario first.
5 or 6 feet “worst case”? Nope. Think more like 12 to 15 feet. And that’s not even worst case.
It’s going to be bad per the Russian astrophysicists who aren’t paid to pimp Gorebull Warming...
As soon as I heard the first reports of this on the noon news, when they said a truck with four occupants fled the scene, I figured they were illegals.
