I would reckon many hockey fans can singbthe Canadian anthem.
Of course, ours is more difficult to sing and memorize.
My new little chickens are 23/24 weeks old and no eggs from either one yet. The Buff Orpington is the older one but she’s very small compared to the enormous road runner Ameracauna. I have read that Ameracaunas take longer to start laying. I’m looking forward to that first blue egg.
I don’t want him to run either.
But it looks like he is using the old “compassionate conservative” playbook. which to me basically is the same thing as a big government liberal.
Exactly!
It is late in the year. It is possible they could wait until spring, isnt’t it?
They put the words up for the US anthem, too.
Brr. I am cozy in my chair with Buffy on my lap. Your day sounds much better. I am lounging in my chair with Buffy on my lap.
Lol -repeat yourself much.
I’ve decided that “compassionate conservative” is a polite euphemism for “total wuss”, or “media whore”...
No matter how many fluffy throws you have, pets are better...
It is 60 here-breezy and raining-the minute I came in from hiking and sat down at the computer, Titus climbed onto my lap, and as soon as he was settled, Midget girl got up here too, and curled up to his fur. Yeti boy is asleep on a fleece throw on the recliner.
My neighbor’s Yorkie got under their fence this morning and was running loose on the trail-once Husky girl saw him, I had to hold onto her leash to keep her from chasing down and grabbing him-he ran back under the fence, screeching like she already had him-she does not seem to see any difference between him and a rabbit. She is crunching the beef treat I gave her-probably visualizing that little dog...
I have friends and family with Yorkies but I just don’t see them as real dogs. They’re like a cross between squirrels and yappy cats. Whereas Shih tzus are playful kittens in dog suits.
A former neighbor of mine had a Shih Tzu it wasn’t a yappy dog at all and was perfectly okay with their Sheltie and two cats.
I’m trying to visualize a cat-squirrel cross that yaps...
Oddly enough her hubby’s appears next to Stupidity.
A dangerous combination...
Yep.
He’s fine here, given the purplish nature of the state, but...I’d only like to see him run, as a foil pushing serious contenders to the right...while positioning himself for a down ticket slot..
Playing the electability card (my anticipation of his reasoning)..makes him a good VP choice, (an excellent one actually, given his prior Hill exp...) but no more.
And one wonders if he is enough of a realist to know, that is really his ceiling...
Shih Tzu?
The Art of War?
Not that Chinese general-the dog...
My dad’s shih tzus were always happy-go-lucky, easy-going dogs. They liked everybody. He had one that would bark at him every time he sneezed.
I guess so, but I was really looking forward to some production by the end of the year.
