I hear similar comments, every day, when people in our office are quoting health insurance rates to people. “Due to the requirements of the ACA....” and so on, before throwing out some insurance premium figure that is most people’s take-home pay for the month. “....and then you will also have the co-pays and deductibles to meet....” is added on the back of the premium rate.
It is both infuriating and heart-breaking.
Out of curiosity, I looked at healthcare.goob at my options. What is available for me is not insurance. It’s a huge expense with no return.
The irony here is before Obamacare we had people going broke because they did not have health insurance. Going forward, people are going to go broke because they do have insurance.
We are too stupid to know what is best for us.
I have MS, so I have a laundry list of doctors, here’s how Obamacare has affected my doctors:
Great GP, had been my doc for many years, vowed he’d retire when Obamacare took effect...he did...he was 58.
Another Specialist I see, closed up her practice on Jan 1, as of this year...also a long time doc of mine.
I get to listen to a rant about Obamacare every time I see my Neurologist, my Physical Therapist, or my Physiatrist (not Psychiatrist...although after all the changes happening in my doctor world, I may need one a Psychiatrist too.)
Liberal songbird Leslie Marshall was stuck on O’Reilly last night having to admit that her physician husband hates øbamacare.
Mrs. Salvey lost both her insurance coverage and her doctors. Her new premium is $1003.00 per month and she must find new doctors.
