(Compared to a 7’+ storm about ten years ago during Xmas week, this *is* just a minor dusting ;-)
Regrettably, I will probably be moving next year to a facility TBD within the confines of NY State, by necessity .... Then plowing, yardwork the property itself etc. would be up to Mrs. M’s discretion.

It was 23 this morning-there was no wind so I went for a hike-it was warmer in the woods too. There were cougar and coyote tracks by the water, along with the deer ones-that is closer than I like, but at least there are plenty of deer for them to feast on...

It gets down into the 20’s and even teens here most years-but usually not until at least late December-the last time it was that cold this early was maybe 10-11 years...

I still read, but don't post much. This is the first I heard of anything like that going on in Cheyenne. The Pony Express has not brought the news dispatches to the whole state yet.
Besides after being the coldest in the nation last week the paper gets burned in the fireplaces before it gets read.
