Please don’t agitate yourself. You’re doing exactly what I would do, try to figure out how I could’ve prevented it. You’ve had enough heartache and are doing what you can to protect your other cats. Try to pray and find some peace in the calm moments ;)

Also the statement about Opossums not being able to incubate the rabies virus because their body temperature is too low, is NOT TRUE.
