I pretty much agree. A j frame snub nose revolver with no longer than a 2" barrell. I perfer it chambered in .357 but I still load it with .38 +p rounds. I just like knowing if all I had was .357 ammo I could still use it. I've found my polymer frame Ruger LCR handles recoil better than my previous all steel snubbies.
The .357 is clearly the bigger/more powerful round. I just find the kick a bit on the high side, which drives too tight a grip on the weapon and anticipation of the kick, which causes one (well, me) to jerk the trigger and throw the round high right & off target. Given that the first round on target usually wins the gunfight, I’ll stick with the P+ as the sweet spot for loads.
