Can I ask a stupid question?
If young black men are being shot in big numbers, for no reason by white cops, and white Hispanic neighborhood watch people, why do we only hear about Brown and Trayvon?
Sharpton and others have talked of an epidemic of these shootings, leading one to believe that white cops use black men for target practice.
Yet the only examples of the alleged epidemic of these cases are shootings which at best, could be called shootings under very questionable circumstances.
And this ignores the thousands of young black.men shot by other blacks every year in this country.
Yet the liberals decide to blow two very questionable cases all out of proportion to show that young black men are at great risk from police or other authority. It just makes no sense.
They already have the script written. Just waiting for names to fill in the blanks.

What astonishes me is that they actually had a great example when John Crawford III in Ohio was killed mere days before Michael Brown was shot. Crawford was essentially minding his own business when some guy called the cops and claimed Crawford was acting threatening; when Crawford saw the cops after him, he panicked, bolted, and was killed.
Happened at Walmart, and just about the whole thing was recorded; someone set it up so you can watch what Crawford's actually doing and compare it to the 911 call, and IMHO the guy calling was setting Crawford up for murder by cop. If he hadn't said Crawford was actively aiming a gun at people, the cops might have given Crawford a better chance to surrender.
But while I consider that a Bad Shoot, I don't think it was entirely the fault of the police, and I don't think the police are regularly murdering black people. I'm just saying that's a much better example of a black guy getting killed for no reason than the deaths of either Travon or Michael Brown.
The kid in Cleveland who got shot running from the cops, Timothy Thomas, is another example where the cops are running on adrenalin and shoot someone who in bolting in panic but isn't actually a threat. It definitely happens. But it isn't nearly as common as some people want to believe. What's weird to me is that it was guys who were definitely out of line -- Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin -- who are lionized, while John Crawford III is, at best, a footnote.

Why only when it is cops or citizens shooting young black men. When it is young black men shooting other young black men- crickets- I know the reason it does not fit the narrative, that cops and citizens (makers/taxpayers/ non criminal) are killing the ybm sensely.
