Y’all do realize that there are many Freepers who are teachers, don’t you? I just absolutely love being lumped in with all of the drunkards, perverts, and thought control nazis. Last I checked, I haven’t molested anyone, pissed myself at school, or expelled any kids for chewing their pop tart into the shape of a gun. Neither has any teacher that I work with.
Then stand up and vocally condemn those idiots in your ranks and get out of the union that protects them.
Let me expand on that a bit.
I and many others had to reeducate our own kids DAILY over the crap your profession fed them until we stopped and yanked our kids out of govt schools. With todays internet learning it’s easier than ever.
Now I do not know you. You may indeed be a truly great teacher and if so, I applaud you. However, being on FR is no race card. The last ‘teacher’ I encountered here posted proudly of her hiring illegals to save money on fixing her house.
Teachers have deservedly joined my old profession on the ash heap (journalism) because members of that profession killed it. There are good Journalists and Good teachers. They need to scream it from the rooftops and actively disavow those in their ranks that put liberalism over their responsibility to the country. Teaching and informing honestly.
