I can tell you anecdotally that Ms. McGowan is absolutely correct. I grew up in an area of Denver that is heavily homosexual. It never ceased to amaze me how much straight women loved to be around gay men and yet behind their backs gay men said the most vile things about women.

Maybe those women who like to be around gay men like to see a man made over in a woman’s image. Any woman who has a real respect for masculinity would not enjoy being in the company of emasculated men.
