None of those characters were sufficiently villainous, nor were any of them very compelling actors and actresses. Beth was the best actress in the bunch, and that's not a very high bar.
Poor episode, interesting story though.

I thought the actress who played the cop-—I can’t even remember the character’s name-—was probably the worst of the bunch.
