I like Sieges on TWD. It’s good training. Like when Darryl tossed that grenade down the gun of that tank.
The writers show how LEO are the most clueless of the human race after the apocalypse, and emphasize their Statist world-views.
This was a departure from the average episode, and lots to be drawn from it.
I agree.
Also the actress that plays Beth did not laugh nor giggle. Very telling I think.
I was furious when I heard those comments.
A few cool things have happened since then:
1. The Talking Dead’s Facebook page had literally blown up with criticism for not kicking Barrowman off the show.
2. Barrowman’s own Facebook site went from public to “visible to friends only” after the backlash. :)
Someone on the show, I think the producer, has stated that there is nothing in the show that should be taken politically, or that certain groups of people in the show have some connection to groups of people in reality. That is the best way to do a show, and anyone can watch it without getting angry at the subtext. Which might be a reason why it is so popular.

They have and they don't like what they saw. They will stick it to the rubes by making their favorite character gay. And, honestly, I'll just sit back and laugh, because all the Daryl hype is gotten past tolerable.
I would bet that Barrowman and his “husband”, knowing he was going to be on the show, worked up some attack phrases. I bet they had it all planned that the pansy would make some sort of attack against conservatives.

My first thought after his nonsensical Palin/Republican comments was the "Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it" speech from Billy Madison.
That poor girl gets stuck sitting on the couch with awkward/uncomfortable creeps every time she is on that show.

I liked Barrowman on Torchwood when it first came out then he stuck his tongue down a character’s throat and that was the end of the series for me.

The scene of Morgan at the beginning of the season seems to have taken place weeks or months after when Rick and the group were there and Rick changed the sign to NO Sanctuary.
