Pennsylvania State Police, ending a seven-week manhunt, have captured a man accused of ambushing two troopers, leaving one dead and seriously injuring the other.
Eric Frein, 31, was taken into custody Thursday, state police said. NBC reports that Frein was found in a hanger at Pocono Mountain Airport, where they received a report he was hiding.
Despite being armed with a gun, sources told CNN that he was arrested by U.S. marshals without incident. Marshals surrounded the hangar, called out Frein's name and he surrendered.
However, pictures of Frein in the back of a police cruiser show him nursing a wound to his nose. It's unclear how he sustained the injury.
He will now reportedly be taken back to Blooming Grove police barracks, where he allegedly shot a state trooper dead on September 12, to be booked in jail to await his first court appearance.

I will ignore the racist reference. Really making FR look good, aren't we?
If you cannot understand the use of hyperbole to illustrate the absurdity of a vacuous blanket statement, or see the evil in the cops and other government jackbooted thugs you uphold so reverently, then enjoy your chains.
And, no, I am not going to "ping" him. He can read his own replies in the thread.
backwoods-engineer and his buddy are stupid. My statement was describing the reason for the death penalty. In their blind hatred they took the stupid train on a trip to Hatredland.
^^^ Reading comprehension. You need to improve yours.
Her, and it is forum etiquette for which people HAVE been banned for not following.
LOL, "stupid"! Why don't you call me "poopy pants", too!
Your statement was far too broad. You know it. Admit it like a person of integrity, if you have any.
Really. Whooo, I better toe the line then. Putting the right number of names in the "To:" box is so much more important than what we're talking about.
Don't like it being pointed out, do you?
I'm only gently reminding you of what you posted.
Can't take it?
Go play elsewhere.
And the King of England had long since ceased being legitimate.
And the PA troopers tend not to be Aholes like NY state Troop F BCI.
The PA troopers tend to be courteous, helpful, and professional.
Yes, really.
Forum rules exist for a reason.
Don’t like them?
Perhaps someplace else where such rules don’t exist is more to your liking?
Too bad Penn doesnt have the death penalty. Anyone that can ambush another human being that coldly is a danger to society.
You have poor reading comprehension skills and a heart full of hatred. The problem is yours, not mine. I refuse to waste anymore time explaining the reason for the death penalty.
Yes, stupid.
A former US Marine got gunned down at the trooper barracks and you’re drooling over his death!
I have all night to play with idiots who drool over the deaths of US Marines.
Good news!
Please allow me to answer that question...Yes!
LOL!!!
Hangar is correct.
I won’t waste my time. The death penalty is meant for those who can coldly kill and are a danger to society. Frein fits that bill. If someone can’t grasp that because they’re blinded by hatred based on a false assumption then there’s no point in continuing.
Still no admission that DJmacintosh's statement was too broad. Well, one can't have everything.
It is obvious from the food caches and gear drops that Frein planned this for years.
That some hold him up as some heeeero is disgusting.
Now, I’m no fan of the police due to the Troop F NYS troopers harassing me for twenty years, but the PA Troopers did nothing to me and in any dealings I have had with them they have been professional, courteous and helpful.
That a fellow soldier, a US Marine, was gunned down while in Trooper uniform is a tragedy.
That some idiots CHEER THAT is disgusting, dishonorable, and an outright disgrace and shame to all.
