Pennsylvania State Police, ending a seven-week manhunt, have captured a man accused of ambushing two troopers, leaving one dead and seriously injuring the other.
Eric Frein, 31, was taken into custody Thursday, state police said. NBC reports that Frein was found in a hanger at Pocono Mountain Airport, where they received a report he was hiding.
Despite being armed with a gun, sources told CNN that he was arrested by U.S. marshals without incident. Marshals surrounded the hangar, called out Frein's name and he surrendered.
However, pictures of Frein in the back of a police cruiser show him nursing a wound to his nose. It's unclear how he sustained the injury.
He will now reportedly be taken back to Blooming Grove police barracks, where he allegedly shot a state trooper dead on September 12, to be booked in jail to await his first court appearance.

Exactly...but his public insults to all military I just could not let stand unanswered.
His and Galts were both quite aggravating.
They’d smarmily insult people with “are YOU brave enough to serve?” and then smear those of us who do with the “enforcers of [insert idiotic regime statement here] will.”
I remember there being something like three or four threads about Galt getting the zot.
He sent his name and address to some...challenging them to a come and get him..LOL I know one was on active duty...and a bit occupied with a bigger fight.

I never acquired that position in his eyes, he never challenged me that way.
Of course, I was available to come and hand him a thrashing at the time...
He needed a good thrashing..and AA.
Doubt he’d be interested in that, but it would have been nice.

I dread getting in the midst of this love fest, but did y’all really not read dj’s comment ‘that coldly’ to mean without any significant provocation? You really took it to cover situations such as those our Founders faced, or those in times of war?

Seems Frein hid out in the woods waiting to shoot someone/anyone.
Does that really remind you of the Founders or those that charged the beaches in Normandy?
