Giants defeat the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in Game Seven to win the World Series.
Wrong city. You’re thinking LA.
They got rid of him because they were going to rebuild and as great a player as he is his talents were going to waste, so they traded him for prospects the team desperately needed.
Judging by what I see at some of the away games there are quite a few teams who don't have that kind of loyalty.
“Nancy Pelosi probably thinks this makes her the new Speaker of the House.”
That’s funny.
Nancy Pelosi is really from Baltimore.
She probably doesn’t even know This game was happening.
And aide will tell her to say something tomorrow.
Absolutely. That is the America I love and the America I want back.
Now, this was in baseball...right?
“The amazing part about this series was the Royals are a better team in almost every category.”
Royals didn’t even win their division.
Neither did the Giants for that matter.
Baseball should not have a wild card.
Crawford is a helluva shortstop. And a local kid.
What a great play....
Top shelf...
Yeah, but they sure kicked the hell out of the teams that did win their divisions.
That triple was a hard-hit ball too. I was thinking that he'd pull him right there.
In a way I wish someone else had pitched the 9th. I don't want anybody thinking that Bochy left Bumgarner in as a crutch.
Wow!
If baseball shouldn't have a wild card, then neither should football.
And now he’s won another World Series!
He looks like he is having a seizure with everything he does. But it works for him. Ever see the time he did his normal spastic thing and hit the ball three times for a 3 run single?

Nope. It was a correct runner hold. The relay man had just caught the throw in from the outfield, (in SHORT left field), as the runner was just still steaming into 3rd. He would have been tossed out at home by 20 feet if he had been sent.
Moron slid head first in to first.
That always slows down a runner.
I’m not sure whom that hitter was offhand, but you are right that may have won the series, and his bonehead slide lost it if so.
I was thinking the same thing. I think almost all managers would have gone to their "closer", therefore securing Bumgarner's tremendous effort in the series. It would have been great for baseball but sad for Bumgarner, if Perez would have hit a walk-off HR in game 7.
Gutsy performance.
