I made a set for my Unique Model L in .22LR. It is actually a very fine pistol but the original plastic grips broke. I cut out two blanks from the side of a dead TV. The plastic in the TV was perfect for grips. Tough, durable and fairly easy to carve.

You should go into business selling them. "Get your new replacement grips now. As seen on TV!"

As I said, I am no craftsman but the grips are functional as is the pistol. When I walk around my yard or the nearby woods, it is often the gun I put in my pocket.
