I always heard that she and Gabe Kaplan really did not care for one another and it caused problems on the show.
From what I’ve heard not many cared for Gabe Kaplan.
She did an interview several years ago and said that, for reasons she and Kaplan still didn’t understand, producer James Komack played them against each other for the first season or so, telling each things about the other that weren’t true. When someone, I think one of the writers, clued them in on what was happening, they became good friends.
She was actually rather defensive about Kaplan’s reputation on set, saying his battles with Komack really wore on him.
