I am getting kind of tired of it. I have seen every episode, but the shish kaBob has gone too far. Zombies eating people are one thing, but people eating people is too much.
I am not 100% on the band wagon any more.
Hang in there if anything is certain about this show is that the plot will swerve.
I see the cannibal aspect as further proof of the deterioration of mankind during a ZA, so it doesn’t really bother me. I mean, it’s been like 18-22 months since all this went down, right? There is no law and order and our group is certainly not the same as they were pre-ZA. How our characters walk a fine line between keeping as close to their previous selves or devolving into people like the Governer or The Claimers or Gareth and his merry band of Termites makes for fascinating viewing. I am very excited over the start of S5 and look fowrard to seeing how it plays out over the next oouple of episodes. Plenty of time to see if the writers will deliver or fail.
I'm also having some problems with it, though I don't want to spoil anyone's fun. And it was the Bob-Ka-Bob that had me sort of throwing up my hands, so to speak. It's sometimes seemed to be a gross-out contest, among the make up artists, and that's fine. But there's so many avenues this show could have gone down, with the CDC, although that's surely dated by now. People so desperate to survive, no awe for the fact that dead folks walkabout, no consideration of the uniformity of natural causes. Why do they walk about? Will that ever be explained?
I doubt it. Simple toxoplasmosis?
(Sigh.) You know I'll probably continue to watch it, regardless of the failure of my suspension of disbelief.
Well, like my grandfather always used to say:
"There ain't always room for the tuba player..."........
i think there would be people that would do it for several related reasons. not that i’d agree, but they would be - quality protein, dealing with potential attackers, security concerns, limited resources for current location, develop a reputation for others to stay away.
