Republican strategist and former John McCain consultant Steve Schmidt has joined the team helping Texas Gov. Rick Perry with the strategy around his indictment, POLITICO has learned.

Schmidt is the latest addition to a team that Perry has been expanding with legal hands. Ted's got another problem: his wife is a high ranking exec at Goldman-Sachs.

The libs took Romney's business and branded him an out-of-touch one-percenter. Team Romney never had a rejoinder to the picture the Donks painted of him, and in the end I believe it was a big part of why he lost.

They will be doing the same thing with Ted's wife. They will heat that Goldman iron up till it's glowing and brand Ted with "bankster" and one-percenter.

Even knowing that the Dems were going to character assassinate Romney, he and his team did not have a response. Hopefully Team Cruz does, because it's coming. As surely as Jihadis behead their captives, watch for team Donk to play this card.

Friday, Rush Limbaugh, “America’s REAL anchorman”, commented on the nasty and godless Carol Costello’s comments as she rejoiced with great glee over the abuse of Bristol Palin and the media coverage of late, which was a direct shot at the Palin family. Maybe Costello’s envy and hatred for Mrs. Palin is because she sees in Sarah someone that she could NEVER be. When I heard Costello’s comments about Sarah and her family I personally went through the roof! Sarah Palin and her family are beloved by conservatives and I took this attack very personal. Oh how these godless and lawless haters love to rejoice at conservative American’s calamities and injustices. Indeed, what more do you need to know about an individual. Carol Costello’s personal character is as a tell all book made available for all to read (Matt. 7:16-19). Rush was absolutely right when he called this unrepentant and reprobate Costello out for her full blown hypocrisy, for indeed she is just like her father (John 8:44)!

Nobody has ever exposed the mainstream media for who they truly are, including their double standards and ugly biases, than Palin. In addition, she has also allowed opportunistic and jealous Republicans—especially insecure male losers who may have unresolved issues from their past that they can’t seem to let go—who want nothing more in life than to be patted on the head by the liberal mainstream media members to show their true colors. Too often, those aforementioned Republicans have criticized Palin more viciously than any Democrat, as if they are desperately trying to make up for their deficiencies. For just that alone, she has been invaluable and indispensable.

Palin appeals to hard-core conservatives, working-class Reagan Democrats of all backgrounds, especially those in the exurbs, and Americans on the frontier with a libertarian streak in the mountain time zones. Whether she runs for governor, Senator, or President, nobody on the right will have a higher floor of support to begin with than Palin, whom establishment Republican moneymen have always feared because she can raise enough money to “burn a wet mule,” as Haley Barbour once conceded. Translation: she doesn’t need political power brokers.

It has been six years since Sarah Palin stepped onto the global stage in a sleek suit and a pair of Naughty Monkey high heels as an Alaska governor turned vice presidential hopeful ready to tear up the Republican campaign trail with running mate Sen. John McCain. The nation has been through much since then, as have Mr. McCain and Mrs. Palin, who nevertheless remain on public radar. Mrs. Palin still rattles the landscape — particularly when it comes to her many critics.
