For a show called The View, the program's hosts on Friday all have the same opinion: The Catholic Church needs to change. Co-host Whoopi Goldberg highlighted pop singer Ariana Grande's decision to leave the church because of alleged intolerance towards her gay brother. Fellow-co-host Rosie Perez announced, "I'm a recovering Catholic." Rosie O'Donnell explained, "I, like you, am a recovering Catholic."
Goldberg offered, "I just say I'm a humanist." Former Republican strategist Nicolle Wallace is, technically, supposed to represent the conservative perspective on the show. Instead, she cheered on her co-hosts and suggested that "maybe in another generation, if Pope Francis can push the church where I think he wants to push it," Catholicism can change.
O'Donnell attacked Catholicism for a "lack of a Christian attitudes":
ROSIE O'DONNELL: And all my nieces and nephews are baptized. So, when Parker arrived, 19 years ago, they're like, "When is the christening?" I'm like, "There isn't a christening." They're like "Why isn't there a christening?" I'm like, "Well, the gay church, they don't really accept me." So, I didn't want to bring my kid, christen him into something where they're going to speak against the evils of their mom. So, it was a big point for me as well, the rejection of homosexuality and the lack of Christian attitudes.

“Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will built My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against Me”.
Not sure I have that verse exactly right, but it’s close .
I’ve never heard a sermon on homosexuality in the Catholic Church. More paranoia from the gay left.
Recovering Catholics BS! They are fallen away Catholics and followers of the Satanic Cult called Progressive ism.
The Left does not believe in diversity. Note how Bill Maher always invites three liberals to join his panel along with the one conservative. This way, even if one of the liberals decides to jump ship, he still will enjoy a 3-2 majority.

And I’m like......and they’re like.......and I’m like..........
Just can’t help but bash Rosie for mangling the language. She sounds like a teenage girl who is incoherent.
Close enough.
That show should be called the Liberal View, or something along those lines.
You will not get diversity of opinion on that show.
In fact, you get a certain amount of nonsense, as Whoopi Goldberg explains to us about “rape rape”.
It’s crazy that these liberal Hollywood idiots have such a platform on what is allegedly a serious discussion program.
Pretty sad when Whoopi Goldberg comes across has the smartest person in the room — shows what a roomful of dopes they have.
I’m proud of my church for the enemies it has made.
That’s a great point; while the human element is imperfect, the Catholic Church has all the right enemies.
The View’s ratings are dismal:
The program (or maybe “pogrom”) is called “THE View”, after all, implying there is only one point of view. The Catholic Church has been the enemy of this totalitarian world unification of the vast anti-life spectrum of limited thought and wrongly derived opinion. Not because of the Catholic Church’s efforts to openly combat this mindset, but the proposition that the Church is the object of a daily Orwellian Two-Minute Hate, stretched into an hour or more.
Yep, if Whoopi is the voice of reason, we’re all in big trouble..........
50 There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!
51 Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.
52 From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three;
53 a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Luke 12
So, because of the Catholic Church’s stand on “gays”, Rosie and the rest of the view have left the church...or are in some kind of “recovery”.
Fine...perhaps they can join the religion of peace - Islam.
Oh, wait...
I wonder why they never talk smack on Muzzies or Islam?
They just have to hold on. Pope Francis will change it to their liking, eventually.
It does make me proud to be a Catholic, when the Catholic Church is singled out for “critque” by the likes of these dames.
Hope the cast of the “View “ gets Ebola.
