At the beginning of each season they should start with fifty or so harpies. Then each week one harpy should be voted off either by the other harpies or the audience or some combination. They could also have harpies eliminated because they come in last in some sort of gimmicky contest.

All throughout the show the harpies should be taking selfies, tweeting and updating their Facebook pages.

That'll get the young uns to park their eyeballs on The View.

Oh, and they could rename it to The Spew.
