I count 27 streets going from Detroit into GPP. With two of them “fenced off.”

Look bro, I have no intentions of getting into an argument with you over this blatant bullshit article from across the pond. Why?

Because number one, I know the area, my sister lives in the area, my niece lives in the area and I travel thru the area on a regular basis!

Nunber two, the only major streets which lead into the Pointes from Detroit proper are from the following, :

Jefferson Ave. which becomes Lake Shore Drive at around Moross.

Charlevoix which ends at approximately 7 mile rd.(Moross)

Kercheval which takes up where Charlevoix ends up.

Mack Ave

Harper Ave. which ends at approx. 9 mile rd. and mack Ave. takes over. None of which have been blocked off to prevent traffic from Detroit......

As for this bogus picture here, you think that maybe, just maybe the barrier was constructed because of freshly laid concrete?

This is the Lochmoor Country Club golf course located along Moross between Mack and Kercheval………

One only has to look at this picture to see that the wall has been in existence for years and there was never a thru street to begin with………

I’m unclear why you think I’m trying to argue with you.

There are at least 25 streets by which one can drive from Detroit directly into GPP. Only two streets appear to have been fenced off, quite possibly for reasons other than keeping the riffraff out.

IOW, I agree it’s a BS article.

If you want an argument, you’ll need to argue with yourself.
