Same thing is going to happen to Cassidy as Romney. Polls look great ..we got this. While the dems are knocking on thousands of doors...pinpointing there base...phone banking till middle of night...yard signs being delivered...and on election day the Repubs are scratching there heads wondering what happend. Asking stupid questions about having to appeal more to Latinos.
This is very sophisticated target campaign marketing...they tailor a message to the voter's actual hot buttons.
Combine that with relentless Push-Pull-Drag operations and the ability to work that system for weeks in early voting and absentee, and it's possible we are all in for a very big shock on Nov. 5.
We do not have a senate race here in WI, but the stakes in our Governor's race are huge. And I am very nervous about what is happening here. Governor Walker should be "walking away" with this election - the Dems put up a real tree stump of a candidate. But polls are tied, and WI put Tammy "Tree Stump" Baldwin into a senate seat a mere two years ago under this system.
