The first time it went out with a bang this time it went out with a whimper; CNNs Crossfire is no more. Again. The show had been missing in action for weeks and already some of its co-hosts Stephanie Cutter, Newt Gingrich, S.E. Cupp and Van Jones have been popping up as contributors around the networks landscape. Some staff have been moved to other programs, and the remainder have been encouraged to apply for open positions within the bureau, source say surprising, given that CNN is in the process of slashing about 300 positions.
I doubt if either of the regular viewers will notice.
I think CUPP is done. She used to be on FOX and left for CNN, like Alisyn Camerota. They’re both toast.
Given CNN’s ratings, it might be more economical just air old Point-Counterpoint segments from 60 Minutes.
Or the Akroyd-Curtain parodies...
CNN >> Turner Broadcasting>> TimeWarner
Where liberal ideology trumps profits....
Anybody for “Newt for President”?
He has time on his hands.
I agree. Cupp should not have left Fox. Not a good decision to go to CNN.
“Used to plan my day around Braden vs. Buchanan. Novak was good too.”
The Golden Age of Crossfire.
what a blessing that would be!!!!!!
Wow. You must have really been bored back then.
It’s not clear to me how any sentient person could plan their day around any TV show.
I'm sure she'll land on her feet. Especially with legs like those.
