The CDC has confirmed that they did indeed give this nurse permission to fly even though she told them repeatedly that she had a fever of 99.5..I fell for the BS too, I wanted this woman’s head on a platter for getting on board the plane now we know the truth, she did things by the book(Even though I dont think she should have gone anywhere to begin with, stay at home for 21 days, if all is well, go on and live your life the wedding can wait) but still, this woman was thrown under the bus and crushed all day and they KNEW she had a fever and said “Hey go ahead knock yourself out”
Thank you for being honest. So many FReepers are too filled with pride to acknowledge that they are wrong. She called the ‘experts’... multiple times... and they told her to go ahead.
This is not her fault. This is the fault of political bureaucracy and it needs to be seen as such. There’s blame, alright.
But not the nurse.
