(1) I watched the demo video. I believe he actually touched the outer layer of the hood with his bare skin.

(2) seems they could spray them down with a bleach / water solution first. It might could make the suits reusable for a couple of uses. I believe it would be safer for the user too.

The partner also touched the guy’s skin with his glove. Also, taking the gloves off, leave a bit of “inside-out” glove (clean side) on the first hand to take off the second glove.

Someone did a study with those wipes. In most households it ends up SPREADING the germs. You need to use a lot of them, otherwise you end up wiping the knob on one door and transferring them to another.

A kiddie pool with a garden pump sprayer and bleach solution would be more effective.

Having taught the 40 hour hazmat first responders class I was surprised they did not have a shower set up for initial decon. A garden sprayer filled with bleach mix would work also if you are sure to collect the residue for disposal.
