This is what I said...cut and pasted..
” All you need to do is to control the Visas.”
The reasoning behind the uselessness of controlling the flights, is largely due to the fact that there are no direct commercial flights from either of the three infected countries.
After looking into this many weeks ago, I was quite surprised to discover that travelers from these infected areas have to fly to European destinations and then catch a connecting flight in one of about three potential cities, one of them being Brussels, which is the route the Liberian guy in Dallas took.
These flights contain all sorts of people, from all over.
To eliminate the travelers from the affected areas, and control the ingress into the US, it is not necessary to stop the secondary flights from Europe or wherever.
All you need to do is stop the visa’s they use to get in, or you can even do it from a passport level, for Americans wanting to get back from the area infected, if you needed to.
Agree . Sorry to jump on your post to make a vague sugar analogy. I am hopping mad about the whole thing. Apparently Brussels is getting sick of it too! Obama made it clear that these Ebola region people could come here without a problem. His invitation is putting entire western world at risk.
Maybe the EU will ban the hot zone visa/passport holders, since Obama refuses to for unknown and nefarious reasons.
A random disjointed tweet from someone below, but hopefully a good sign:
