It means Patrick Stewart will be showing up in a future episode. It would be really cool if Patrick Stewart showed up as Picard, in the Enterprise from the future, and beamed down a cure to Rick.

Since you raised that point I am left to wonder what the rumored ‘cure’ will do. Will it just stop people from turning to zombies when they die or will it also kill off all of the undead?
