[From the article] “These foundations that were supposed to ensure the financial stability of his wife and heirs now fund a horse farm, where an Olympic show-jumper named London lives. Glock gave London to his new wife as a present and, at $15 million, it is one of the most expensive horses ever purchased.”

It took a couple of tries, but I finally got a look at that horse. Wow. Whatever else, the Glocks have impeccable taste in show jumpers.

‘Welcome to Team GLOCK!

Gerco Schröder and London

They are the dream team of the international show jumping scene and yet their future together was in doubt. The Eurocommerce Stables auction meant that Gerco Schröder, the show jumper from the Netherlands blessed with tremendous sensitivity, and London, the chestnut Belgian stallion that jumps so well, faced an uncertain future and seemed fated to go their separate ways.

Fortunately, a dream has come true for Gerco Schröder and the world’s show jumping arenas can still welcome the dynamic duo. Gaston and Kathrin Glock bought the 12-year-old BWP stallion (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) at the auction for the top price of €8.6 million and Gerco Schröder will join Team GLOCK.’
