I have no idea why some people think it is perfectly acceptable to do stuff like this just before marriage, you have already promised yourself to one person for life when you proposed.

I opted out of the event I was invited to.
Nothing good could come from that one.

It is a foul, destructive “custom” that arose in response to greatly over-hyped bachelor parties held by a few well-known men in the entertainment industry who were marrying for no reason other than professional advantage. They never intended to be monogamous.
So, now we have the fallout of feminism with women trying to one-up and outdo what men are supposed to have been doing, based upon a largely artificial notion created by Hollywood.
Stupid, isn’t it? Maybe a little well-aimed mockery will help reign it in.
