It seemed like that much. I got a ton of ground beef that was 1/3 off, a pile of $5/pair shoes for a collection at church, various clothes for various children (ours) since we’re getting cool weather now ... and, like, food.
And wine, because now I’m in shock and need a sedative.
I went for a second walk to make up the 15 minutes, so now I’m having Second Breakfast...salad.
While I was looking for clean clothes for after my shower, I found a pair of slacks with the tag still on...size 12...myohmy. A snug fit, but a fit, just the same!
I sent a text to Busdaddy and told him I wasn’t coming over till Saturday morning. I have things to do, and it would be stupid to go over now, as I would still have to come home tomorrow to get some things done, then go back on Sunday for a doctor’s appointment on Monday early AM. Lo! And Behold! He agreed with my logic!
My appointment is with the podiatrist, to see about having the pins taken out of my toes. His office is about 10 minutes from Busdaddy’s place.
LOL
A New Yawkah once told me she’d never shop at Wal-Mart.
I asked her what part of low prices for reasonable qualty merchandise she didn’t like.
We don’t talk much, she and I.
