Get the big boxes. They keep a long time, you know!
We did have a good time. DP and Bill got to see his mother in Myrtle Beach. It’s always a question whether she’ll have time for them (sigh).
Joann says the church festival was a financial success, although all the accounting isn’t done yet. She said the auctions/raffles (which our prayer group ran for several years, including your knits) made about $8,000. I only bought two raffle tickets (and didn’t win) because I had to use all my money on food and rides for 7 children. Oh, well ... all goes to the same place at the end.
I will definitely get the big boxes and I will clean out a place in one cupboard just for the extra. I hate being without Pink Drink!
How is DP’s mother, since his dad passed? Is she doing OK?
I’m glad the church festival was successful. Maybe in a few years, I can contribute some handcrafted items again. My problem these days seems to be that I don’t take time to SIT and watch TV in the afternoons, which is when I did most of the work. I don’t know how I got out of the habit, but I think it started when I moved here, and my chair wasn’t right in front of the TV.
Lately, I’ve been trying to work on projects beginning about 1300, as that’s when Blue Bloods comes on WGN (Tom Selleck) and I LIKE to watch him! He is heavier, now, with many more lines in his face, but Jillie Mack is still one of the luckiest girls I know of! LOL!
