According to the helpful guys on the NC forum, a washer is supposed to last 10 years @ one load per day. Mine last about the expected lifespan, accelerated.

I was just going to say, with as many loads as you do a day, 3.5 years is quite a long while.
That doesn’t include the extra loads from illness and camping trips.
