Yes. It left out two very important details
1. What happened to the kitty. Was it reunited with its owner or was it adopted by the fireman?
2. Is the fireman single? :)
The article said no people were injured in the fire, so they probably reclaimed their kitty.
Assume the fireman is single ... what can it hurt?
