To: Tax-chick

She is too afraid to play. When I don’t hold her she sleeps, unless it is dark in the bedroom, and then she wants to eat and sharpen her claws. I hope she notices the toy, and the wet food. She didn’t eat at all the first day, but drank a little (a LOT judging by my bedding!) but her food bowl was almost empty today, so I tossed the stale stuff and gave her new, fresh water and a spoonful of wet.

I don’t want to make her sick. The last thing I need is a cat with bowel problems...

She might play if you weren’t around. Did you find out from the vet’s what she was being fed, so you can try to keep it about the same?
