I’m dizzy today, but muddling through. I made it home with no problems and wonder of wonders: Absolutely NO BODY was in my parking space, so I could back in and unload my laundry! YAY!
There were three packages in my patio, waiting for me, two of which I expected and one which was a total surprise! Christmas! YAY!
The Cat Presently Named April has a new name, and it will be permanent. She let me hold her this morning, and as I got a closer look, I saw that the little orange hairs made her black coat look blacker. The lighter hairs almost seemed to sparkle...so her new name is Sparkle...
I will let her out in a bit. When I left the bedroom, she looked at the door with curiosity, so that’s a good sign. There was a package for her from a secret admirer and it has been assembled and is ready for her inspection. Thank you secret admirer!
I hear her exploring in the bedroom, so that is another good sign. She has been in the closet and under the bed and it’s now time for her to come out and join the world. I suppose she will be on the bed with me tonight...a good place to be.
It sounds like a successful morning. Congratulations to Sparkle on her new and seasonably-appropriate moniker. She sounds like a very interesting mixed-breed.
Cold and wet here, but we’re going to Target, anyway. I’d better get my coat and stuff.
“Sparkle”
Just recieved an E-mail from Sparkle ,She likes the new name. :)
