Thank you. Kitty was a rescue, they told me she was four, but it turned out she was a year older. Totally un-adoptable. I would love to get my hands on her previous owners. She was rescued from a kill shelter to a no kill shelter but no one would take her because she had such social problems with people.

I took her, loved her, she came around but it took a lot of time. She turned out to be a great cat. She got kitty cancer and they go quick from that. I had her for just shy of 11 years.

I thought by now I’d have another one, but with my collapsed lungs and being on an oxygenator, I’m not allowed to leave my apartment, and I can’t have a cat right now. I hope next year will be a better year for me and I cn finally have another kitty in my life,,

11 years is a good run with a cat, especially a rescue, since it’s hard to know their real age or state of health before you adopt them.

I’m pretending not to notice Shannon is batting a pipe-cleaner around the floor. We have a polite fiction that she’s too dignified for that sort of thing.
