It was Shawn’s choice. He is scheduled for every other Thursday, and he needs the money as much as I need the help. He will be here at 0700 which won’t interfere with any other plans that either of us might have.
Besides, for the most part, Thanksgiving is just another day to me. I do have a turkey dinner whenever I can afford one, and I’m always thankful for the bounty that my life contains. But I’ve spend so many holidays alone that they are just days with special meals and special prayers.

I’m having some vegetable soup (onion, garlic, carrot, pumpkin ... was out of peppers and celery yesterday). It’s less than 1 Point per bowl, but it will keep me going until Officially Lunchtime.
