I has teh kitteh teknolijies. Just had to find Internet Explorer.
Mom has arranged a full-time minder for Dad until ... whenever. It’s possible that some therapy can be arranged to help with his balance so that he doesn’t fall again. She’s gone over to the Home to meet the aide coming on shift at 6:00 ... and just phoned to say the previous one left about 5 minutes early, before the new one arrived. She’ll be chewing someone out, I’m afraid - not the aide, someone higher up the food chain.
It’s interesting to see the different types of medical workers. These ladies are “Personal Service Assistant,” so they seem to be the equivalent of daycare workers. This is okay, because their main job is to help him move from place to place so he doesn’t fall.
I called home last night and had DP pull up my email and delete most of it. Tom’s haircut has been rescheduled because Jamie let her son take her phone to school, so Tom couldn’t call her for directions. R U MAD? she asked. No, of course not. If you’re going to have Jamie cut your hair, you have to expect this sort of thing. It’s just what she’s like.
Good morning! Frost here and 29 degrees. Brrrr.
Glad your dad is doing ok, but it stinks about the home health workers. Do they work on a psychiatric hour? ( psychiatrists see you for 50 min and charge you for sixty min).
I hope your dad continues to get better.
