Speaking of news, there will be
a partial solar eclipse tomorrow; in the afternoon for west coasties, and after five for us on the East Coast.
Do not look at the Sun!
Instead, do what I did in the late sixties. Find a park, with some trees to cast dappled sunlight on the ground. All of the dapples will be small crescent shapes!
It's an amazing thing to witness.
You can also reflect a tiny mirror image onto a large wall and see the sun's occluded image in the reflection. Tape the mirror in position to stabilize it, and enjoy the show!
But don't look at the sun! Your eyes are not ants, to be tortured that way.

The Obama National Security team is still stuck on “The pellet with the poison’s in the chalice from the palace. The flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true.”
Nudge, nuge, wink, wink, say no MORE, say no MORE.

We’d all be better served if the Obama National Security Team were replaced by the Matthews Athletic Association Peewee Raiders team.

Good morning. My hands are cold. I headed out for my walk with my phone instead of my discman, and the ear buds are too big for my ears, and kept falling out. The volume in my phone is not very loud, and I don’t know how to fix it, even though it is set to “max.” So with the traffic, I couldn’t hear what was playing. Just as well, I guess.
My 40 minute walk was cut to 25 minutes because my right leg was just too doggone painful. I don’t know wassupwithat.
I was going to stay home and do nothing today, but Busdaddy isn’t feeling well and wants me to come and hold his hand when he gets off work. Next week, they change bids, so his days off will be Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. My life is not my own.

I took Sally to the dermatologist to get the wart on her hand zapped with nitrogen. Next we’ll going to Walmart. I could only run for a few minutes yesterday because my leg hurt. I don’t know what’s up with that.
Busdaddy should get a stuffed animal.
My hands are cold, too.
