To: Tax-chick; everyone

Good morning, and Happy New Year to all.

It is now 2015 and a work day has begun in the U.S.

The festivities can commence as soon as the coffee kicks in.

I’ve been to Hooterville and back, and got most of my bills paid, then picked up a couple of Smart Ones. I also traded a cartful of clean laundry for a cartful of dirty laundry.

Sparkle is fine and was happy to see me, which is a good sign. She still had food and water (no wet stuff, though) so she was good to go. I hope to go home Sunday afternoon, since I have to come back on Tuesday. The appointment with the podiatrist on Wednesday is less than two miles from here and since I don’t have to get up too early, I won’t have to fight the rush hour traffic coming in. It’s my pre-op appointment.

Busdaddy didn’t get to Boston until midnight EST, and was up long before I was. He doesn’t sleep on flights. He’s as bad as I am, in that respect.

I’ll finish another couple of bills on the computer, here, and be good. I won’t try to buy groceries until I get back home; it doesn’t make sense to do otherwise.

Busy, busy! I’ve been to the gym. Now I’m making the Chickpea Dish With Noodles to take to some people who had a baby. When it’s ready, I’ll take it them.

I’d like to sleep, but I guess I won’t. I’m glad Sparkle was happy to see you!

I saw Harry Reid has had an accident. Based on the description of where he had broken bones, I’m wondering if the accident didn’t involve a voter and a baseball bat.

Well, I WAS going to finish the bills on the computer, but I left my password book at home. And I can’t for the life of me recall the combination properly.

I will go back in the morning and do it from my home computer. Not leaving today, except maybe to go to 7-11 for some Starbucks Chocolate Mocha.

Yesterday, when I walked there, I saw the skid marks from the chopper crash up close and personal. It slid 40’ sideways before it came to a halt. Both the officers suffered back injuries, and that’s to be expected.

Today, I will drive to the store, even though I could walk. Every other day is the secret to what I can do and get away with it.

Another load in the wash, and one to go and I’ll be done, finally, for another week.

I also spot-mopped the tiles in here. I can only stand to look at the dirt for so long, then I have to do something about it.

I had a pretty rough night again...and threw up before all was said and done. I don’t know what’s up with that, but I sure don’t like it.

Nah, he was in his home and slipped on the treadmill. No doubt he thought he was God, again, and figured he could magically remain upright. The old fart needs to sit down and shut up. He’s not going to be any more popular than he is right now, and that’s not saying a lot.

American Rugby?

Probably closer to Rugby than Baseball is to Cricket..

But does Rugby have the forward pass? 'Cause Cricket doesn't have the Home Run...

And on a local note, former Emperor Mario Cuomo is dead.

Unfortunately for New York, he had offspring.

Nah, he was in his home and slipped on the treadmill.

That's his story.

I like ArGee's version better...

Forward pass is forbidden in Rugby....if the Ref is looking,*Ahem*.
I would consider a Six and two Runs as satisfying as a home run, having done both. :)
If you're in a Pair that gives 10 to the score!
My bowling was once described as more Blitzkrieg than cricket, hrumpf.
We were all very ,very ,Drunk at the time. Good match though.

Forward pass is forbidden in Rugby....

All the better since the ball is not shaped properly to allow same..

Six and two Runs as satisfying as a home run

I'm sure. But is it as spectacular as a 530' home run that clears the roof of the stadium and bounces around on the street outside... ;-)

Uh-oh. I don’t think the universe is set to handle two people who think like me.

I sense a disturbance in the Farce.
