I got an Arkansas-shaped magnet for the truck, but I’m afraid to put it on, since I know people often like things better than I do, and a “Shifty Sidewinder” Baja Bug from Cars Radiator Springs 500 1/2! YAY!

Christmas dinner was OK. It wasn’t as good as the last Hungry Man turkey dinner I had, but it was edible.

I left in the wind and cold yesterday, and came home in the wind and cold and dark this morning! Traffic was light both days, so that was good. I had to go find a store that was open so I could get some salad fixin’s but luckily, the Cardena’s Market two blocks away was open and doing a brisk business.

I love that store, but wish I knew more Spanish so I could ask for what I wanted. The employees all speak English, of course, but still, it would be nice if I could honor them in their own store by speaking their language.

“I got a totally unexpected laptop for Christmas”

OMGoodness, so did I.

I’m starting chemotherapy on December 31, and Hubby bought
me a tiny laptop so I can get on FR while I’m sitting still for six
hours while the 3-drug cocktail slowly seeps into my vein.

I’m also on Houston Area Texans, so I can visit them as well. My
card games, I’m not sure they’re on there yet, but I do have a week
to get them.

I am pretty sure there are plenty of card games online and for download. I can play games now that my old computer would have laughed at if I even thought of clicking them. This new one has 8 GB of ram.

thanks, for the ping/post...
..back '06, Mom had to keep the living room (tightly)
sectioned-off..in '05, the Kitthens had a field-day,
she lost quite a few (recently gifted) glass bulbs.
The Cats, nearly lost 7/9 Lives that year.

The horrific drek at 4608?
Yes that was, unfortunately, me..

I can at least blame Snowball Fight on my coauthor Face.
But “Why We Build Snowmen” was on me.

Yep. Darks and I do some of our best work when the dreams are similar...there seems to be no boundaries, then...

We LIKE it!

Afternoon, all. We went shopping. Pat’s been programming most of the day, but I made him leave. The dog is barking.

And the same to you! It’s also the memorial of St. Stephen, the first martyr, as in “Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Stephen.”

I have Hoyle SolSuite, and it’s got literally hundreds of solitaire games. I bought it,
so I can put it on my other computer if I want to, and if I can figure out how, LOL!

A long time ago I had Hoyle Casino, it was pretty cool... although I don’t gamble on anything but the lotto in real life

I have Hoyle’s Card and Board Games, but they are for Win95...I sure enjoyed the mah jong they had. I wish I could upgrade the two CDs.

I like Solitaire-Anything because I am alone so much and have no game partners.

Certainly worthy of a BARF warning. Did you note his 'source' links? NYT, WaCompost, AlJazerra, Politifact, Brookings (always unbiased - and pigs fly), and themselves...

The author's 'about' paragraph tells you all you need to know. Complete with all the appropriate lieberal buzzwords like 'creative' and 'direct-action' and such. ;-)

Carl Gibson, 26, is co-founder of US Uncut, a nationwide creative direct-action movement that mobilized tens of thousands of activists against corporate tax avoidance and budget cuts in the months leading up to the Occupy Wall Street movement.
