Everybody wants to be a cat.

My washing machine is broken. I want to be a cat and only shed on things, never do the wash.

Morning, everyone.

The morning kitty ping should not be construed as a wake-up message.

If you could possibly do that.

"My washing machine is broken."

Not a screwdriver again, I take it.

Try looking online to see if there's a secret decoder reset procedure. I found one for mine.

I looked in a drawer and found the receipt for the 5-year warranty, purchased only 3-1/2 years ago. I will call Best Buy when I get home from Weight Watchers.

Three and a half years for a washer in the Tax-chick household is like seventeen years somewhere else.

Good thing it doesn’t have an odometer, or engine hours indicator.

Good news, supposedly. Soon you’ll be patting yourself on the back for your success.

(But it’s going to be a long road.)

Endeavor to persevere.

Persevere? My motto is, “If at first you don’t succeed, eliminate all evidence you tried.”

What’s this persevere thing?

Actually, I do plan to plug away. I want to skate again.

It is for that reason that you can see pre-pubescent children looking strangely at their teen-age associates, and rolling their eyes at their obvious idiocies.

Ah, yes, the human teenage years. When amazing confidence is coupled with a complete lack of thinking skills. And we have responded to this state of events by worshipping youth and eschewing the wisdom of the gray-haired set.

Adults can and should have a playful spirit to apply to all their activities. Absolutely, including the activity of making sure the world is safe for childhood. Being uptight isn't the same as being adult, or even being serious.

YAY! It’s morning!

58 degrees, 38% and no breeze. It’s supposed to get up to 88 today, but we shall see.

I managed to get about 12 hours of sleep, but I’m still tired, which is pretty usual for me. I wish I could wake up refreshed and energized once, like I used to do. Still, I’m awake, and I’ll take that!

Nothing big on the docket today. Yesteday, while I was swapping out the winter and summer clothes, I realized I need more long pants. And the water filter needs to be replaced. I think they last about four months, but I will have to make it a point to track it this time, whenever I get one again.

I’m almost finished with the footstool cover, so I may get it done and put it in place today. While cleaning the closet, I found my Living Trust papers, so I will go over them and see if they make any more sense to me. Last time I looked at them, I wasn’t taking the colloidial silver.

I also found my copies of the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. They should have been together, but they were in different rooms!
