Good morning. I liked the Simon’s Cat video.
Bing today has a clown fish on it’s main page. I said “Nemo, “ to myself, and then thought maybe your Kathleen might enjoy. Kids like Nemo.
PApril spent the night under the bed, except for when she came out to eat, use the litter box and try to kill the things under the bedroom rugs.
I will be gone most of today and all of tonight, so maybe, when I get back, she will be glad to see me and actually come out when I’m in the bedroom, since I will have to put clothes away. I’ll give her a few more days. Like I said, after six months in confinement she may be afraid of the extra space.
We’ll make it work.
Grown ups like “Nemo,” too! LOL! I HAD to have that movie!
I love Pixar movies. The pizza truck from “Toy Story” is in every Pixar movie, even the ones released before “Toy Story.” How fun is that?
I like the animated movies, perhaps more than I can properly justify.
I’ll just say it brings out the kid in me. You all will understand.
BTW, Bird Girl is alive and scruffling all over the inside of the box I put her in last night. There are leaves from the plants that dried out and fell off (so I put them in the box for her cover). She has taken a few morsels of wetted oatmeal and I put a glove on and picked her up a couple of times. She seems to be ... feisty. Her left wing doesn't seem to extend completely when she tries to fly away, so she is just left scruffling around in the box trying to get off the bottom.>[? I have to take a trip so I will just load the box into the car and take her with me. My grandson will get a kick out of her when he sees her Saturday. His two turtles, George and Gracie (I named them) are living in the closed in backyard at my Condo. Grandson is quite the rescue ranger at eleven.
Wonderful News! The fact that Bird Girl survived the night says a lot for your TLC!
I’ve been getting things ready to go do my laundry, since I don’t like the facilities here. You never know what goes through those machines! It takes me all day to do the laundry, but I take my own food, so I know I won’t veer too far off the Weight Watcher’s diet. I just need to get rid of the excess weight...ASAP...for the BP and the spine.

The laundry has been done for nearly an hour. That’s good because I didn’t feel like doing it in the first place!
I still have two loads at home but I can do them next week. I’m tired, but I’m fighting the urge to nap because I may not sleep tonight if I nap now. When I do nap, I have to do it in the morning, or I don’t sleep.
I’m not doing the floors today. I just don’t feel like it.
I’ve decided that the night PApril sleeps on the bed will be followed by the day I will open the door for her to explore more. I feel kind of bad for her, being in that cage so long.
Congratulations on the laundry! I suppose I should go see what’s going on with ours. DP thought they were coming to install the new internet service today, but it turns out it’s next Friday. Oh, well.
Just be patient with Presently April. She’ll learn to like you in no time.
I’m not going to get upset with the Little Black Waif. She has a lot of adjusting to do, so I’m going to let her take her time. All my schooling over the years would be wasted if I got upset with something who had no choice in her behavior.
