I’m cleaning. Well, I was, until I stopped to look at my email in hopes there would be some news from my mother. I’m telling myself no news is good news, that they’re very busy with (for example) moving Dad’s things to a safer facility.
Now Pat has to do math again.
I’m organizing things in my head and making a list of which organizing I’m going to do first. There are several projects that need doing, and most of them need to be done so I can decorate for Christmas beginning December 1.
There is probably no “bad” news about your dad. You’re most likely right about them moving him to a safer facility. I’m sure if your mother felt it necessary, she would have emailed you. Hang in there!
News will come when your brother gets there.

My brother was there Monday night, but I never expected to hear anything from him. It would not cross his mind.
Back from the gym. Unnngh.
I spent some time dusting this morning, before I decided it was warm enough to get to the gym. This year, things are going to be clean enough for the Advent Kitteh. I want my wine and pretzels!
I need to get Tom to use his height and dust the ceiling fans. He’s leaving next Tuesday for a trip to Florida with some of his friends.
I got another four pages (typed) dictated, and it puts me in approximately the third grade. Now, I’m just trying to straighten things up. I have no place for anyone to sit, should anyone decide to visit.
I’ll get up in a minute and try again. That’s the good thing about being home. I can do something to alleviate the boredom. ;o]
If you get too concerned, you could always call your mother. Though it would seem to me that the situation is being taken care of. Otherwise, you would have heard something...no news is good news, and all that.

It’s not even that cute of a cat.
I took Tom to The Salvation Army (didn’t find anything), Walmart (groceries and whatall), and the bank.
Sweet potatoes are $.25/lb. I’m going to cook some this afternoon, mash them, and freeze them to make pies on Thanksgiving.
I just found out I’m out of Thank You cards, and I have two to send off. *sigh*
Little by little, I’m finding room to put things. Once I get the transcribing done, I can rid myself of the hard copies. I hope my shredder lasts! LOL!
This morning, I was actually amazed at how much I got done, and how quickly I did it. I will try to work at it two or three hours a day until I get it all done. There are a lot of loose pages that I typed years ago, but I don’t expect them to go as fast as the written ones, since cursive takes up so much room.
Anyway, daily progress...a little at a time.
Did Tom dust the ceiling fans?
Not yet, but he will before he goes on his trip. I think I’ll go find him ... he can do the living room and dining room fans now.
Make that one...I've misplaced the address for the second one...
It's nice to have someone handy who is tall enough to take care of the higher things in the house...like upper shelves in cupboards and ceiling fans.
Three fans have been dusted, also the tops of some pictures that were too high for me.
According to ‘Face, everything above the counter tops is too high for Tax-chick... and even those are a stretch. *ahem*
You see how foresighted I was in producing Tom.
Excellent forethought.
But he eats an awful lot.
Infrared on the other hand, can be quite warming...
