I’m back. Tom met me at the airport. OldTax-lady had given me cheezburger sandwiches to eat on the flight, and I gave Tom the one I had left. Also a tank of gas.
Kathleen and Frank and my catz is happy to see me. My laundry is on.
I don’t know what’s happened at Mom’s since 1:30 when I got on the airport van, but much staff was being hired as I left.
I might be able to stay awake until I can get my wash in the dryer, but either way, I’ll be along with a kitteh in the morning.

My mother’s cat is too grouchy to bring home.
I got an email from her, sent last night, saying that she thinks she’ll be able to hire enough staff to get through the next few days. Last night she had a young man along with a woman, which is good. My father is 6 feet tall, 285 lbs., and extremely strong. Without two people to help him walk (or a really big guy!), he could fall and injure them both.
This has been a learning experience like you wouldn’t belief. Anoreth, email your grandmother PLEASE. Send her a nice picture of your dog. Tell her about your favorite bar. She needs something cheery!
