He’s obviously a cat with a gift for relaxation. I’m glad he’s doing better!
There are many spiders in this picture.
What a beautiful kitty you have! A master of yoga, will you look at that position he’s in?
He looks so happy and peaceful, such pretty pink jelly bean toes.
Please give a kiss from me.
Yeah... I’ve a wee bit o’ practice before I can attempt that...
Might start with this one though:

Happy 239th Birthday to the Marines. We don’t look at a day over 238...
Me. Want.
You should be able to master that one easily enough.
That’s a beautiful tartan!
I have a great niece how is now pregnant with her third child, but when she was in high school, she and her piping band won a trip to Scotland in competition. She played at her grandma’s funeral *snif* standing under some trees about 15 yards away. Hauntingly beautiful.
You’ll be doing the complicated stuff before you know it!
Your faith in my abilities is comforting...
Possibly misplaced...
But comforting. ;-)
The kit I have now included a practice chanter. Going to start with that.
You’ll do just fine. As long as I have known you, I can’t imagine you could ever start something and not finish it!
The chanter is the best way to start, so I’m glad that was included.
Me, too. Shannon and Jake, not so much.
Back before the millennium, I was sent to Edinburgh to work for a fortnight,
It was wonderful. I loved seeing men in kilts, and yes, I accidenty did learn what is worn or not worn under them.
I also loved seeing men in full dress play the bagpipes.
P.S. for the record, i ate haggis, it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever eaten.
Was it deep-fried haggis? I saw that on a Travel Channel program.
The haggis that’s made in the US isn’t made the same way they make it in Scotland as an ingredient is illegal. Can’t remember which, but I think the sheep’s stomach is the one...
The best I can do is get to a Scottish Games weekend nearby, if I have the money and feel up to going. The latter is probably more important.
Almost nearly but not quite exactly as good as this little gem...

OK, maybe as good.
It was regular haggis. It was at the hotel restaurant where I was staying. I made a comment I wanted to try it, so they gave me a spoonful on a plate for free with my dinner, I had lots of fish and chips in Scotland. The fish was so darn gooooooooood!
Of course I left the waitress a large tip that night.
Priceless! (I’ve been kicked out of a lot of places, too.)
My parents have been to Scotland, but the closest I’ve been is Northern Ireland. They had good fish there, too.
I’ve been to London....
Me too, in 1983.
