I agree with you that her pictures were stolen and that she feels violated. That does not make it a sex crime, nor does it excuse her naivete regarding the web. She is a world-wide celebrity!
There is nothing that is completely secure once it is digitized. Nonetheless I hope she and the others find some legal redress.
I don’t agree it was a sex crime. I think she’s upset and she feels violated, as if she had been a victim of a sex crime. I can see that.

We should maintain a high expectation of privacy from our vendors. This idea that nothing is secure once digitized does not have to be the last word on the matter, nor should it be. There’s going to be a privacy backlash, if there isn’t one already. Market is in the best position to do something about this, not the government.
